The Story
House inaugurated in 2000 in the basement of the JK Building. Matriz became the main meeting point for the city's alternative, underground, and independent culture. Names like Zeca Baleiro, Chico César, Vander Lee, and Los Hermanos have performed on its stage. Festivals, cinema, exhibitions, theater, dance, and book launches are part of the program. In 2024, the management changed, but the space remains active with the same spirit.
